Because StabiliGrid disperses vehicular footprints over the width of the roadway, much less roadbed foundation is required.
  The hot asphalt may be spread on top of - and steamrolled into - the grids.
This creates a permanently anchored, water-permeable verge:
(1) the verge acts as a ground-surge resistant, High-LOAD, roadside pull-off for emergencies, while also
(2) allowing rainfall from the highway to percolate directly into the soil,
without creating Storm Water Runoff.
